"Due to everyone at Blackbird Motors I am a returning customer! First time was in 2009 when they rebuilt my Johnson 150 Fast Strike. I am not kidding when I say the motor ran better than when it was new!!! My 35 year veteran mechanic said the rebuild was the best he had ever seen. So, now I am back again getting the same motor rebuilt. I have a son who is on the Virginia Tech Bass Fishing Team. Two weeks ago while fishing a BASS College Super Regional at Smith Mountain Lake, he let the oil reservoir run dry and the motor locked up! Obviously my son and I had us a good long talk about boat maintenance and oil levels!!!!! Yes it is painful to spend money to rebuild only after 3 years and due to just basically human error on the part of my son, but I would never trust anyone else to touch my motor. Do yourself a favor and call Blackbird for your rebuilds!"​
